  • True Love

Hi everyone, sharing two of the projects the ladies made at last weekend's class. It uses the True Love Designer Series Paper and Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. The flowers were cut from the Designer Series Paper and coloured using Dark and Light Real Red and Dark and Light Old Olive. I will admit that I had a bit of trouble working out which way was up or down with these flowers and after looking at the pictures I think I still got it wrong, especially with the box but the good thing is you can just turn it up the right way. The box is one of the Love You Always Treat Boxes available in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. There is no adhesive required in putting these boxes together and they are perfect for giving a little gift. I love the contract of the black and white in the Designer Series Paper with the pop of red. If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order. SHOP WITH ME! Thank you for visiting. Carolyn Share:facebook - twitter - pinterest True Love

  • Easiest One Sheet Wonder for 12 x 12 Paper!

So - how easy is this one sheet wonder for 12 x 12 paper? Just cut strips!!! Look at these beautiful cards - all eight come from one sheet of paper. Each of the six different papers creates an entirely different look using the same template. This is how you will cut your paper. Hint: Using the Postage Stamp Punch, punch across the bottom edge of the paper before you have cut that last 1-1/4' strip. It makes it easier to use the punch when there is extra paper. Next, cut the strips this way. Lets start

  • Easy Diagonal Paper Accent Layout

I know it is starting to feel like fall out there, but I'm still playing with my summery favorite, Daisy Lane! It's just so easy to make beautiful, cheerful cards covered in blossoms. You may have seen this trendy diagonal accent around the web already. I love the assymetry of all the angles. The trick to making it look good is keeping a balance between the "heaviness" of the piece of patterned paper on top, with the "lightness" of the other stamps and sentiment below. Keep stamping until it doesn't feel top-heavy! Ready to recreate this look at home? Here's...

And who doesn't love blue and blue and more blue 💙 I just couldn't help myself, had to return to the gorgeous Forever Fern stamp set. I just started stamping a bunch of the leaves using just one colour - Pacific Point - stamping twice - looks like I used two different colours doesn't it?? One of my other new items is the All Things Fabulous stamp set which I used for the flowers and stamped with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede, and the Basket of Blooms stamp set. Throw in some embossing folders and some ombre colouring and these make a lovely bright set of cards.
